Our Inclusivity Commitment

We continually engineer, test, and audit our website to ensure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA Title III), Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, and the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA.

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

Conformance Level: The Cole Don Media website (https://coledonmedia.com) is designed, developed, and maintained to meet or exceed WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance.

  • Semantic Landmark Hierarchy: Complete semantic structure utilizing <header>, <nav>, <main>, <footer>, and single logical <h1> hierarchies on every page.
  • Full Keyboard Operability: All navigation menus, mobile slide-out drawers, estimator calculators, and modals are fully operable using standard Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, Space, and Escape keys.
  • Screen Reader Accessibility: Informational images feature descriptive alternative text (alt attributes). Decorative graphics and background icons are tagged with aria-hidden="true".
  • Text Resizing & Responsive Zoom: Layouts adapt gracefully up to 200% browser zoom without truncation, horizontal scrolling overflow, or broken overlapping elements.
  • No Seizure-Inducing Animations: No elements flicker, strobe, or flash at frequencies exceeding 3 times per second. Respects prefers-reduced-motion system preferences.

Cole Don Media is designed to be compatible with modern operating systems, modern standards-compliant web browsers, and popular assistive technologies, including:
